Religious Education.

As a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, RE plays an important part in our school life. We have very close links with

St. Mary's Church in Penzance. In fact, Father Keith is our Chairman of Governors, he is a regular visitor into school.

RE is taught in line with the Cornwall Agreed Syllabus. We teach both Hinduism and Christianity at Key Stage 1 and Christianity, Sikhism and Judaism at Key Stage 2. At least 75% of the RE lessons taught are about Christianity. Every half term we hold a School Eucharist where parents are invited to share this special time with us.

We have our own Anglican schools inspection in the same term  as our OFSTED inspection.

Please click on the link below to view our SIAS report in 2007 where we achieved outstanding in all areas!
